Terms and Conditions – PERUANDES DISCOVERY E.I.R.L.

The use of the services provided by PERUANDES DISCOVERY E.I.R.L., whether in person, by phone, or through the website peruandesdiscovery.com, constitutes the express acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

1. Identification

PERUANDES DISCOVERY E.I.R.L., with RUC: 20604027978 located at APV. Villa Hermosa A-2 in the district of San Sebastián, Cusco – Peru. For inquiries or communications, you may contact us via email at [email protected] or via WhatsApp at +51 991 071 744.

2. Services

The company is engaged in the organization and marketing of tour packages, excursions, transportation, accommodation, and other travel-related services. PERUANDES DISCOVERY E.I.R.L. acts as an intermediary between the client and external suppliers (airlines, hotels, local and governmental operators, among others).

3. Payments

  • All credit cards and bank transfers are accepted.
  • Payments can also be made via the Izipay payment applications. In this case, the agency will send the client a secure link through which the transaction can be processed.
  • For international transfers, any additional costs or fees will be borne exclusively by the client. PERUANDES DISCOVERY E.I.R.L. will assume the local fees and taxes associated with such operations.

4. Reservations

  • For reservations made more than 90 days in advance, a deposit of 45% of the total amount is required.
  • For reservations made within 90 days prior to the service date, full payment is required at the time of confirmation.
  • For airline tickets, full payment is required at the time of booking, as their purchase is subject to the non-refundable or non-changeable policies set by the airlines.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • More than 90 days before the service begins: Full refund, provided that no non-refundable payments have been made to third-party providers.
  • Between 30 and 59 days before the service begins: 50% refund of the total amount.
  • Less than 30 days before the service begins: 100% loss of the paid amount.

All cancellations will incur a fixed administrative fee of USD $200 (two hundred U.S. dollars) per person, in addition to charges that may apply from external providers (hotels, airlines, transport, etc).

6. Non-Refundable Costs

There are services purchased in advance that, due to the policies of state entities or administrative rules of the providers, are non-refundable. These include:

  • Tourist tickets to Machu Picchu, Huaynapicchu, Inca Trail (82km or 102km), and the Cusco Tourist Ticket (BTC).
  • Consettur bus tickets, the only means of transportation to the main entrance of the Machu Picchu Historic Sanctuary.
  • PeruRail train tickets for the Expedition, Vistadome, Hiram Bingham Belmond services, among others. In these cases, refunds are limited and under certain external conditions.
  • Airline tickets, strictly subject to the policies of each airline, which generally do not allow changes, cancellations, or refunds.
  • Accommodations included in the reservation, subject to the cancellation and refund policies of each establishment. In the case of cancellations, a retention equivalent to 10% of the deposit will be applied for administrative expenses.

7. Changes in Itineraries or Accommodation

  • Service prices are subject to changes due to exchange rates, taxes, or operational costs.
  • Itineraries may be modified due to causes beyond the agency’s control (weather, government regulations, force majeure events, or other unforeseen circumstances).
  • During peak seasons or in the case of last-minute reservations, alternative accommodations of similar or higher category may be assigned.
  • If the client rejects the proposed alternative, a penalty of USD $200 per person will apply.

8. Documentation

It is the client’s responsibility to have a valid passport with a minimum validity of six (6) months, as well as the required visas and migration permits for their trip.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • PERUANDES DISCOVERY E.I.R.L. does not own or directly operate the providers offering the services included in the trip, and therefore does not assume responsibility for delays, losses, accidents, unforeseen events, or other incidents outside of its control.
  • Luggage travels at all times under the exclusive responsibility of the client.
  • Any risks inherent to travel (pre-existing medical conditions, altitude sickness, illnesses contracted during the trip, or complications from acclimatization) are assumed directly by the traveler.

10. Recommendations

It is strongly recommended to purchase travel insurance that covers, at a minimum, cancellations, accidents, and lost luggage. Additionally, the client should review official travel warnings and recommendations issued by the authorities of their country before contracting the services.

11. Health and Eligibility

The client declares to be in adequate physical and medical conditions to participate in the contracted services. The agency reserves the right to deny services to anyone who poses a risk to themselves or the group.

Any special medical condition, dietary restriction, or particular need must be communicated at the time of confirming the reservation.

12. Acceptance

TRIP PAYMENT CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET OUT HEREIN.
